On this 12 Days Private Jeep Safari you will be visiting Kenya’s premier parks. The parks include Amboseli, Ol Pejeta Conservancy, Samburu, Lake Naivasha and Maasai mara. Stay at the Amboseli Serena/Oltukai Lodge Amboseli, Serena Sweetwaters, the Samburu Intrepids/Samburu Game Lodge, Lake Naivasha Sopa and the Mara Serena Lodge/Keekorok Lodge.

Day 1: Nairobi to Amboseli
Day 1: Nairobi to Amboseli

Pick up from your Nairobi City Hotel at 8.15 a.m the morning and drive south across the Athi Plains, home of the Masai, via the trading town of Namanga near the Tanzanian border and on to Amboseli. Enter Amboseli Park driving slowly, looking for lions, elephants, cheetahs, leopards, gazelles, antelopes and different kind of birds. Check in at Amboseli Serena Lodge, after checking in take your lunch followed by a short afternoon relaxation. At 4 pm go for the evening game drive in the small but game filled Amboseli national park with a chance to see Elephants, lions, cheetahs, gazelles, wildebeests, buffalos zebras, warthogs, different birds and of course Mount Kilimanjaro. Dinner and overnight at the Amboseli Serena Safari Lodge or the Oltukai Lodge. Full Board

Day 2: Amboseli Full Day

Depart for an early morning game at 6.30 a.m. followed by breakfast. At 9.00 a.m., depart for a mid morning game drive exploring Amboseli until 12.30 p.m. when you drive back to the Lodge for lunch. After lunch, afternoon game drive to start at 4.00 pm with an optional visit to the Maasai village. At 6.00 p.m. return to the Amboseli Serena Safari Lodge or Oltukai Lodge for dinner and overnight. Day 3: Amboseli to Ol Pejeta Conservancy

Have an early morning breakfast then depart for a six hour drive to the Ol Pejeta conservancy with stops in Nairobi to stretch your legs. Arrive at the Ol Pejeta conservancy in good time for lunch at around 1.30 p.m. Afternoon game drive will be at 4.00 to 6.00 p.m. Dinner and overnight at the Serena Sweetwaters camp.

On this day we explore exotic Sweetwaters conservancy on two extensive game runs, one in the morning and the other one the evening in between you will have a visit to the chimpanzee sanctuary. The camp/s also overlooks one of the busiest waterholes in the area and offers elephant, giraffe and myriad plains game. Overnight at the Serena Sweet-waters Camp. Meal Plan {Full Board}

Day 5: Ol Pejeta to Samburu

Have an early morning game drive at 615 a.m to 8.00 a.m followed by breakfast. After breakfast depart Ol Pejeta conservancy and drive to Samburu. The drive time is approximately 2 Hours 40 minutes. Upon arrival at Samburu, have a game drive en route to the elephant bedroom camp for lunch. After lunch, relax until 4.00 p.m time for your evening game drive. At 6.00 p.m, return to the Elephant bedroom camp for dinner and overnight. Samburu is famous for the rare and unusual reticulated giraffe, long-necked gerenuk, Colobus monkey, beisa oryx and Grevy’s zebra.The elephant bedroom camp offers spectacular opportunities to see the elephants close-up. {Meal Plan; Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner}

Day 6: Samburu Full Day

An early morning game drive is followed by breakfast at the lodge. After breakfast, have a full day game viewing with an optional Bush lunch. Explore Samburu and its rare animal species as well as the Samburu people’s culture. Later in the evening return to the Elephant bedroom camp for dinner and overnight. {Meal Plan; Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner}

Day 7: Samburu to Aberdares

An early morning pre breakfast game drive then depart after breakfast to Aberdares. Arrive at the base hotel in readiness to be transfered to the tree hotel. Afternoon relaxing at the Ark tree lodge as you watch animals come quench their thirst. An optional game drive at the Aberdares is available and can be arranged directly with the Ark. Dinner and overnight at the Ark. {Meal Plan; Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner}

Day 8: Aberdares to Lake Naivasha
Day 8: Aberdares to Lake Naivasha

After an early morning breakfast at 7.00 a.m, depart the Aberdares conservancy and drive for 1 to 1.5 Hours to Lake Naivasha via Aberdare ranges where you will enjoy endless beauty of the mountains stretching to the horizons. You will have a brief stops at the Equator as well as at the Thompson falls. Arrive at Lake Naivasha around 10.00 a.m. Optional activities at the Hell's gate before checking in at the Lake Naivasha Sopa as well as have lunch. After lunch relax as you enjoy the cool grounds around the lodge and watch the resident animals including giraffes and waterbucks and occasional hippos. At 4.00 p.m, depart, for an evening boat trip tour of the Lake and on to the crescent Island for bird watching as well as small game viewing for approximately 1 hour 20 minutes. Return to the Lodge at 5.30 p.m. Dinner and overnight at the Lake Naivasha Sopa Lodge. Meal plan: {Full Board}

Day 9: Lake Naivasha to Maasai mara

Today drive to the Masai Mara National Reserve, Kenya’s most popular game park and home to the “Big Five” – buffalo, elephant, lion, leopard, and rhino. Vast herds of wildebeest and zebra wander the Mara grasslands, their numbers increasing during the annual migration. Arrive in time for lunch followed by an afternoon game drive at 4.00 to 6.00 p.m. Dinner and overnight at the Mara Serena Safari Lodge. {Meal Plan; Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner}

Day 10 and 11: Maasai mara full day

Have these two full days at the Maasai mara. You will have the opportunity to arrange the order of game drives depending on the location of the wildebeest herds (July-October) as well as allowing time for game drives to see other wildlife. Breakfast, lunch and dinner at the Mara Serena Safari Lodge.
Around Mid August, the herds are normally scattered around the Mara Triangle Area and crossings at the mara River are quite common, so Mara Serena Safari Lodge is perfect location. {Meal Plan; Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner}

Day 12: Maasai mara to Nairobi

Have an early morning breakfast followed by a two hour game drive. Depart Maasai mara at around 9.30 a.m. and drive to Narok town for lunch. Lunch will be at the Seasons Hotel. After lunch, proceed to Nairobi with a brief stop at the Great Rift Valley view point. Arrive in Nairobi at around 4.00 p.m. You will be transferred to your city hotel or Jomo Kenyatta airport for your outbound flight. {Meal Plan; Breakfast and Lunch}
